Gas Airsoft Guns

Unlike spring airsoft guns which require cocking before each shot, gas powered airsoft guns are semi-automatic and some models even fully automatic. You only have two options for full auto airsoft - electric and gas.
Gas airsoft guns have a few downsides. They average about $100, some more, some less. Gas airsoft guns usually don't work well in cold weather. A can of airsoft gas costs about $20 but it will usually last a long time.

Gas airsoft guns have been around since before automatic electric airsoft guns. You may see older gas airsoft guns selling for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Older gas airsoft guns are less common. The older gas airsoft guns include larger assault rifles and machine gun models, none of which are manufactured today. There are plenty of gas powered airsoft pistols and submachine guns that are still produced today.
One additional feature of gas airsoft guns is gas blowback. Gas blowback gives your gas airsoft gun a bit of kick, in other words a very minor recoil, unlike AEGs or any other airsoft gun. Not all gas airsoft guns are gas blowback. I personally prefer gas blowback. This means that the slide on your gas airsoft gun actually moves back like a real gun. If you have ever fired a gas Glock 18c airsoft gun full auto you'll know how much fun gas blowback adds to these things!
